  • Leader/Volunter/Daughter Event               
  • Library Display for both  Franklin Square and West Hempstead
  • Parade Chair West Hempstead                  
  • Square Dances/Line Dancing                      
  • Work with girls weekly in a troop/group setting
  • Be a short-term volunteer for a girl program (trip chaperone, Junior Achievement, Sports Day, etc.)
  • Share your professional expertise with girls at career days
  • Work with girls on a project
  • Serve on a committee or task force
  • Help with fund-raising or special events
  • Who can become an adult volunteer? People like you who wish to share their time and talent to help girls grow strong through the Girl Scout Movement.
    You can work with girls directly, or you can help with the "operations" on the Service Team, helping to make our programs exciting, timeless, and fun for girls of all ages.


    Join the more than 5,000 adults in our Council and over 200 in WH/FS Girl Scouts who contribute their time, energy, and enthusiasm to Girl Scouting. It's challenging, worthwhile and fun!
